The Process
Where do we go from here?
First Meeting: During this meeting, we will conduct a "mutual" interview, to make sure that we are right for you and that your project is right for us. We are both looking for a comfortable fit, and we will discuss the following:
- Your ideas and desires
- The project's target budget
- Possible designs
- Basic materials
- Potential scheduling
- The Pre-Construction Agreement
Second Meeting:
- Sign the Pre-Construction Agreement
- Obtain the Specification and Cost Analysis fee
- Begin to develop plans for the project
Third Meeting:
- Firm up the final design, material selections, color selections and remaining details
- Invite specialty contractors to view the site for their comments
- Discuss and change any other minor items
Final Meeting:
- Review final plans, materials, etc. in detail
- Set a schedule with start and completion dates
- Sign the contract
- Obtain a "commencement" down payment
